Yuvora is a family organizer, so we handle information that matters a lot to you: your family's calendar, tasks, grocery lists, receipts and spending. This policy explains, in plain language, what we store, why, and how you stay in control. The short version: your family's data belongs to your family — we don't sell it and we don't show ads.
Who we are
Yuvora ("we", "us") operates the Yuvora iOS app and the yuvora.app website. For any privacy question or request, contact us at dev@yuvora.app.
Data we collect
- Account data. You sign in with an email address (verified by a one-time code) or with Sign in with Apple. We store the email address (or the identifier Apple provides) to operate your account.
- Family content. Calendar events, tasks, grocery lists, reminders, spending entries and family membership details you and your family create in the app.
- Photos you choose to scan. When you photograph a receipt or a school notice, the image is processed to extract information (items, amounts, dates, deadlines) and turn it into drafts you review. We do not access your photo library beyond what you explicitly share.
- Basic technical data. Diagnostic information needed to keep the service reliable, such as crash and error logs.
How we use it
We use this data for one purpose: making Yuvora work for your family. That includes syncing content between family members, generating AI drafts (events, tasks, payment reminders, spending categories) from the photos you submit, and sending you the reminders you set up. AI suggestions are always drafts — nothing is added to your family's shared space until someone in your family approves it.
Where your data lives
Your family's data is stored encrypted on infrastructure hosted in the EU. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
What we never do
- We never sell your data or share it with data brokers.
- We never show third-party ads and we don't use advertising trackers.
- We never profile children. Child family members exist only so your family can organize itself.
Sharing within your family
Yuvora is built for sharing inside one household: content you add to your family space is visible to the members of that family. Think of the family space as a shared kitchen whiteboard — add only what you're comfortable with your family seeing.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete account), which removes your account and the personal data associated with it. You can also email dev@yuvora.app and we will handle deletion for you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR if you are in the EU), you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. Contact us at dev@yuvora.app to exercise any of these rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in the app and reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
